My name is Renee. I grew up on a farm just east of Beaverlodge, Alberta, and spent the first almost 18 years of my life there. I moved to Grande Prairie for college and then off to a little hamlet in the eastern slopes. It is here in Grande Cache where I have resided for the last 30 years making it my home. It has also been over these 30 years of being married and raising a family I have learned so much about myself and the world around me.

Right now, I am half a century old, and I feel like I have so much to see and do!

I am an adventurer. I like to try new things, I like to challenge myself and I will forever be a lifetime learner. That’s where this blog comes into play. I always have a side hustle of sorts on top of my regular job and it’s to learn and grow- plus try new things. So when I had mentioned this blog to my daughter, she encouraged me to start it but like some projects, it got put off to the side. Since our conversations she has unexpectedly passed away and after much reflection I have decided that this needs to happen. My purpose is to share my insights, life lessons,in hopes that my words help someone or connect with someone. So with positive intention and a leap of faith I invite you to follow me on my journey.
